DETACHED RETINA IN DOGS The detached retina in dogs is a situation in a dog's eye whereby the retina of the dog detaches from the epithelium, and choroid and the two outermost layers of tissues in a dog's eye.- That is, it is the separation of the retina of the dog's eye from the back of the eyeball.
