Making your poop quickly can become very challenging especially if you are a new pet owner. I see lots of dog owners who are so inquisitive in getting their dogs to poop quickly.

As a dog owner with over fifty (50) years of owning dogs, I’ve also been faced with such challenge. Now, as a pet writer, I see that a lot of dog owners are faced with this same issue.

I got this particular message from over 38 of my subscribers and I know it’s a thing of concern to not only them but many who could not or do not have access to me.

I’ve observed dog owner take their dog for a walk in the morning and in the evening in order to get them to poop quickly.

But most times, dog owners are faced with some serious and time-consuming challenges when they are in a hurry to make their dog poop quickly or when their dog has got constipation.- This is indeed very challenging.

In this post, I shall be listing out several tips on how to make a dog poop quickly.

Below are some of the tips on how to make a dog poop quickly.

They include;

1. Find a Quiet Place

Dogs naturally love to be alone. They prefer to do their thing in a quiet and private place.

So do well to look out for a quiet and lonely spot for your dog to do his thing.

Get your dog at a quiet and private pace, free from distractions of any kind.

Endeavor to create a spot for him and make him get used to that place as a place to poop.

This way your dog gets used to that spot and becomes more comfortable in that area and will soon learn that this is the spot and time to poop.

2. The use of wipes to get your dog to poop quickly

This is one of the simplest and most convenient ways to get your dog poop quickly.

This method involves touch the sensitive areas of the dog.- You can make use of several wipes to stimulate your dog’s bowel movement.

All you have to do is gently wipe around your dog’s bum-bum in a circular motion.

3. Check out their Diet

The kind of diet which your dog takes can be the reason why he/she is yet to poop.

If your dog is taking a long time to poop, even when it’s very clear and visible that they are trying hard to poop. Then your dog may be constipated.

Constipation is a very common digestive issue dogs face.

There may be several reasons as to why a dog is constipated, these reasons include- medication, internal blockages, or lack of exercise.

4. Exercise your Dog

If you figure out that you’re not giving your dog quality or enough exercise, then you need to create a routine to help you and your dog keep up with the task.

Your routine should contain a particular time and place to take your dog to.

The best time to do it may be a little time after they’ve had their meal.

Rubbing your hands on your dog’s belly will help to encourage your dog to poop- a bit of exercise would also help the process.

Lack of exercise can cause a dog’s bowel to become sluggish and lazy.

To get those bowls very active, then you must exercise your dogs.- You can do fetch games, tug of war, or any other game.

5. Learn to Command your Dog to Poop

If you have found a convenient place for your dog and your dog is now comfortable with it, you can add a command as soon as you notice your dog is about to squat to enable their poop and then back it up with a treat after they’re done pooping.

This will help you to easily communicate with your dog in letting them know what is expected of them in the future.- which makes it easier for both of you.

You can make use of words like doody, poop, or something you think would be cool.

Do not forget to reward him as a reward that makes the process easier.- Your dog will realize that the command is for him to poop and won’t hesitate to do down.

Note: You must be patient as this may take a lot of time.- may take a couple of weeks or even a month to perfect. You just have to be consistent.
